The EQUIPMENT TECHNIQUES program teaches you how to choose the right equipment for your needs.

You will learn how to fit, adjust , maintain and make small repairs right on the spot.

If you want to know more about EQUIPMENT TECHNIQUES, you can buy the manual or the DVD even without signing up for the course.

Course Content:

• Your Total Diving System: The Basics
• Your Total Diving System: Scuba Equipment
• Your Total Diving System: Specialty Training and Accessory System
• Traveling With Your Total Diving System

Prerequisite:

• Minimum age 10 years old.

• Open Water certification or the equivalent.

What Do I Need to Bring:

• Current, completed medical form.  If you have any “YES” answers you MUST have a physician sign off that you are cleared to dive.

• Your Total Dive system

• Rental equipment and air fills are not included with this specialty course.

Training Materials:

Upon making a deposit for this program, you will have access to your digital training program on
your MYSSI App or when you log in at www.divessi.com. You must complete all quizzes with a
score of 100% before you arrive for class. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the
classroom portion. You must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.

The primary goal of any SSI Specialty course is to teach you important skills in a fun environment. All courses are taught using home study, short academic sessions, and in-water training.

Combine other specialties while taking the EQUIPMENT TECHNIQUES course! DRY SUIT DIVING or PERFECT BUOYANCY are great add ons. The possibilities are limitless!

Class Fees:

Total cost for the class is $150.00

• $100 includes your instruction & instructor fees.

• $50 pays for your digital home study program, certification fees, your digital certification card, certification card, and diploma

• A deposit of $50 plus purchasing your digital kit will hold your place in the class.

• Note: There will be a $25 rescheduling fee for anyone canceling a class with less than a 7 day notice.

• All  classes should be scheduled at least a week in advance.
